Antimicrobial technology

Microban® antimicrobial technology works to disrupt the vital life processes and biological functions of microbes, meaning they cannot grow or reproduce on the treated product and subsequently die.

Carry handles, trolley handle and wheel tire: Microban® antimicrobial technology is infused into the handles and wheel tires during the manufacturing process. Unlike disinfectant sprays, the technology becomes an intrinsic feature of the handles and wheel tires, and will not wash off or wear away.

Luggage cover and lining fabric: Microban® antimicrobial technology is applied to the surface of the polyester fabric. The antimicrobial properties of the fabric have been proven to remain up to 99.9% effective and remain active on the treated fabric of luggage cover for up to 50 simulated home launderings (AATCC 61-2013).

Bacterial Species: Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538); Klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 4352, ISO 20743:2013); Escherichia coli (ATCC 8739, ISO 22196:2011).
Fungal Species: Aspergillus niger (ATCC 6275, AATCC 30 Part 3).
